The Power of Desire — Daily Dominion | October 7, 2026

Prayer begins with desire.

Jesus said in Mark 11:24, “What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them…” Notice the order: DESIRE → PRAY → BELIEVE → RECEIVE.

But do not build your desires outside the will of God. First John 5:14 teaches us to ask according to His will. Get into God’s Word and discover your Father’s inventory—His promises, provision, and purpose. Let the Word shape your desires and enlarge your expectation.

Psalm 37:4 teaches us to delight ourselves in the Lord, and He will give us the desires of our hearts. In 2 Chronicles 9:12, the king gave the Queen of Sheba what she desired.

DESIRE AGAIN. PRAY AGAIN. BELIEVE AGAIN. EXPECT AGAIN.

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, awaken godly desires in everyone reading this. Open their eyes to Your promises. Let faith rise in their hearts. May the desires You have planted in their hearts become testimonies, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
