DAILY DOMINION

There is a difference between knowing about God and being empowered by God. Jesus did not send His disciples into the world merely with information, enthusiasm, or good intentions. He told them to wait until they were clothed with power from heaven. The assignment was too great to accomplish in human strength.

Acts 1:8 gives us one of the great promises of the Christian life: you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. This power is not reserved for apostles, pastors, or a special class of believers. The Holy Spirit was given to empower ordinary men and women to live extraordinary lives for the glory of God.

Peter is a powerful example. Before Pentecost, fear caused him to deny Jesus. After the Holy Spirit came upon him, the same Peter stood boldly before thousands and proclaimed Christ. What changed? He received power. The Holy Spirit transformed weakness into courage, hesitation into conviction, and fear into boldness.

The supernatural life begins when we stop depending only on natural ability. Your education is valuable. Your experience is valuable. Your relationships and resources are valuable. But there are assignments that intelligence alone cannot accomplish. There are doors that human effort cannot open. There are battles that determination alone cannot win. You need the power of the Holy Spirit.

That power gives you strength to witness, courage to obey, wisdom to make decisions, grace to endure pressure, and spiritual authority to confront resistance. The Holy Spirit does not merely make you emotional; He makes you effective. He empowers you to do what God has called you to do.

Today, do not approach your assignment saying, “I am not strong enough.” The question is not whether you are enough by yourself. The question is whether the Holy Spirit is with you. When He comes upon you, your limitation is no longer the final word.

This month of the supernatural, expect fresh empowerment. Ask God to fill you again. Yield your mind, your mouth, your plans, your business, your ministry, your family, and your future to the Holy Spirit. Stop trying to carry divine assignments with human strength.

You were never created to live a powerless Christian life. The Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you. The same Spirit who empowered the early Church is still present today. He has not lost His power.

Receive fresh strength today. Receive boldness. Receive wisdom. Receive divine ability. Receive grace to do what previously looked impossible.

You shall receive power.
