Principal Scripture — Luke 7:9 NLT

“When Jesus heard this, he was amazed. Turning to the crowd that was following him, he said, ‘I tell you, I haven't seen faith like this in all Israel!’”

Beloved, welcome to a brand-new week! There is a kind of faith that caused Jesus Himself to be amazed.

JUST SAY THE WORD!

The centurion understood authority. He believed Jesus did not have to physically enter his house. He did not demand a sign. He did not tell Jesus how to perform the miracle. He took Jesus at His Word.

God said it. I believe it. And I will act like it is true.

FAITH BELIEVES IN THE INTEGRITY OF GOD’S WORD

Real faith is more than agreeing intellectually with Scripture. Great Bible faith acts on what it believes. Philippians 4:19 KJV says, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” You may not know where the provision is coming from, but you know Who made the promise.

FAITH BEGINS BEHAVING LIKE THE PROMISE IS TRUE

I remember when I was a child, I was promised a bicycle. The moment that promise was made, I became excited—even though I did not have the bicycle yet. I began looking forward to it because someone I trusted had given me his word.

A little child does not ask Daddy to produce his bank statement before believing his promise. Daddy said it, and because Daddy said it, the child believes it. Beloved, how much more should we trust our heavenly Father?

Psalm 91:16 KJV says, “With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.” Plan with life in mind. Dream. Prepare. Build. Pursue your assignment. Faith begins to behave like God’s Word is true.

ENTER THIS WEEK EXPECTING GOD

Revelation 3:8 says, “…behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it…” Enter this week with expectation. Look for God-given opportunities, divine connections, ideas, instructions and open doors. Do not force anything; keep your spiritual eyes open.

Father, I trust You. My eyes are open. Lead me.

PRAYER FOR YOUR NEW WEEK

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, thank You for bringing us into this brand-new week. Give everyone receiving this Word faith that takes You completely at Your Word. Deliver them from fear, anxiety, unbelief and double-mindedness. Order their steps. Open their eyes to divine opportunities. Give them wisdom, favor, supernatural ideas and the right relationships. Let their lives become testimonies of the faithfulness of Your Word. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

I declare over you: THIS WEEK, YOU WILL WALK BY FAITH! YOU WILL TAKE GOD AT HIS WORD! FEAR WILL NOT GOVERN YOUR DECISIONS! YOU WILL RECOGNIZE GOD-GIVEN OPPORTUNITIES! YOUR STEPS ARE ORDERED BY THE LORD! YOU WILL SEE THE FAITHFULNESS OF GOD! YOU WILL LIVE LIKE GOD’S WORD IS TRUE!
