One Divine Instruction Can Change Your Story Jehovah Jireh — God Will See To It By Pastor Sam Onuoha FOUNDATION SCRIPTURE — Isaiah 1:19 (KJV) “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.” Beloved, hear this today: YOUR CASE IS NOT CLOSED WITH GOD! It does not matter how yesterday treated you. It does not matter how little you presently have. It does not matter where you started. If you will listen to God's Word, receive godly instruction, follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, and become willing and obedient—GOD WILL RADICALLY CHANGE YOUR CONDITION! Your present condition is not your final condition. Your beginning does not determine your ending. Your history does not have authority over your destiny. ONE DIVINE INSTRUCTION CAN CHANGE YOUR STORY. GOD WILL MOVE YOU FROM ZERO TO HERO! ONE INSTRUCTION CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING Look at the children of Israel in Exodus 12. For years, they had lived under slavery in Egypt. They had been oppressed. They had little control over their circumstances. But when the hour of deliverance came, Moses, God's appointed prophet and leader, gave them instruction. And they obeyed. Exodus 12:35–36 (KJV): The children of Israel did according to the word of Moses, and the Egyptians gave them silver, gold, and clothing. They were leaving slavery, oppression, and lack, but obedience to divine instruction positioned them for a dramatic change. ONE NIGHT CHANGED THEIR CONDITION. Never underestimate an instruction from God. The instruction you obey today may become the doorway into the season you have been praying for. YOUR NEXT LEVEL MAY BE HIDING INSIDE AN INSTRUCTION Sometimes we are praying, “God, change my life,” and God is saying, “Follow My instruction.” We want a miracle; God gives a Word. We want multiplication; God gives direction. We want supernatural intervention; God tells us what to do. Do not despise an instruction because it looks simple. SIMPLE OBEDIENCE CAN PRODUCE SUPERNATURAL RESULTS. ONE INSTRUCTION CAN CHANGE YOUR STORY. UZZIAH: AS LONG AS HE SOUGHT GOD 2 Chronicles 26:5 (KJV): “…as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper.” Uzziah had someone instructing him in the things of God, and as long as he sought the Lord, GOD MADE HIM TO PROSPER. There is something powerful about a person who stays teachable, seeks God, listens, receives correction, and obeys. YOUR GREATEST ADVANTAGE IS ACCESS TO GOD'S WISDOM AND THE HUMILITY TO OBEY IT. THE POWER OF A TEACHING PRIEST 2 Chronicles 15:3 (KJV) speaks about Israel being without a “teaching priest.” This shows the importance of sound spiritual instruction. God can use His Word, the Holy Spirit, faithful teachers, correction, and one timely instruction to move you forward. Do not become too successful to be taught, too old to learn, too familiar with Scripture to receive correction, or too proud to obey. TEACHABILITY IS A KINGDOM ADVANTAGE. FROM ZERO TO HERO Maybe today you feel like you are starting from zero: zero resources, zero visible opportunities, zero connections. Maybe you lost what you built. Maybe something failed. Maybe you are beginning again. YOUR CASE IS NOT CLOSED WITH GOD! The Israelites came out of slavery. Joseph came out of prison. David came from tending sheep. Ruth came from loss and uncertainty. Peter moved from an empty net to abundance after obeying Jesus' instruction. Your present condition is not your final destination. GOD WILL RADICALLY CHANGE YOUR CONDITION! GOD WILL MOVE YOU FROM ZERO TO HERO! LISTEN TO THE HOLY SPIRIT We are still in our Month of the Supernatural. Sometimes the greatest supernatural manifestation is supernatural direction. Sometimes the miracle is knowing exactly what to do next. Sometimes one instruction saves years of struggle. Pray: “HOLY SPIRIT, SHOW ME WHAT TO DO.” Then when He leads you in agreement with God's Word—OBEY. Do not negotiate with the instruction. Do not delay obedience until it becomes convenient. OBEDIENCE GIVES EXPRESSION TO FAITH. PRAYER & PROPHETIC DECLARATION Father, in the mighty Name of Jesus, thank You for everyone receiving this Word today. Open our ears. Open our hearts. Make us willing. Make us obedient. Give us the humility to receive godly instruction and the courage to act on Your Word. And I speak over somebody who feels that life has left them with nothing: YOUR CASE IS NOT CLOSED WITH GOD! I declare that your present condition will not have the final word. May God give you the instruction that unlocks your next season. May He connect you with godly wisdom. May the Holy Spirit direct your steps. May confusion give way to clarity.
