ALONE WITH GOD

The Secret to Hearing His Voice

Principal Scripture — Numbers 7:89 NLT

“Whenever Moses went into the Tabernacle to speak with the LORD, he heard the voice speaking to him…”

TODAY’S WORD

Beloved, yesterday we discovered two powerful secrets to supernatural provision from the life of Elijah in 1 Kings 17: hear the voice of God, and be in the place of your assignment. God spoke to Elijah. God told him where to go. Elijah obeyed—and provision was waiting for him there.

But that raises an important question: How do I position myself to hear God? Numbers 7:89 gives us a beautiful answer. Moses intentionally went into the Tabernacle to speak with God. And while he was there, he heard God speaking to him.

If hearing God is important to you, then being alone with God must become important to you.

Sometimes you need to get away from the noise. Put the phone away. Close the door. Open your Bible. Take your journal and pen and simply say, “Father, here I am. Speak, Lord. I am listening.”

And don't spend the entire time talking. Read His Word. Meditate. Become quiet. Listen. Because one instruction from God can change the direction of your entire life.

Give God 15 uninterrupted minutes today. No phone. No social media. Just your Bible, your journal, prayer—and time alone with God. PRAY. READ. LISTEN. OBEY.

PRAYER

Father, in the Name of Jesus, give us a fresh hunger for Your presence. Quiet the noise and distractions around us and draw us into deeper fellowship with You. As we open Your Word, give us understanding, wisdom, clarity and divine direction. For anyone confused about what to do next, let Your light shine upon their path. May we recognize Your leading through Your Word and have the courage to obey You. Speak, Lord. We are listening. In Jesus' mighty Name. Amen.
