FELLOWSHIPPING WITH GOD IN PRAYER

The Secret of Preservation, Favor, Divine Secrets and Finishing Your Assignment

FOUNDATION SCRIPTURE

Genesis 5:24 (NLT) — “walking in close fellowship with God. Then one day he disappeared, because God took him.”

What a testimony about Enoch! He did not merely know about God. HE WALKED IN CLOSE FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD.

Learn the art of fellowshipping with God. Your prayer life is more than asking God for things. Prayer is fellowship. It is communion. It is spending time with your Father. It is talking with Him and learning to listen to Him. It is enjoying His presence.

1. FELLOWSHIP STRENGTHENS YOU TO FINISH YOUR ASSIGNMENT

Enoch’s life was marked by fellowship with God. Beloved, God created you for a purpose. Your times are in His hands. Therefore, do not live dominated by the fear of premature death. Do not spend your life expecting sickness, accidents, or circumstances to have the final word.

Stay close to God. Walk wisely. Take care of the life He has entrusted to you. And trust Him with your days. I speak over somebody today: YOU WILL FINISH YOUR GOD-GIVEN ASSIGNMENT! May God preserve you, strengthen you, and give you wisdom for your health, your decisions, and your journey.

2. FELLOWSHIP POSITIONS YOU TO WALK IN FAVOR

Genesis 6:8–9 tells us that Noah found favor with the LORD and walked in close fellowship with God. Corruption surrounded him. Judgment was coming. Yet one man stood out: NOAH FOUND FAVOR WITH GOD.

Your economy does not have to determine the limit of God’s provision for your life. Your environment does not cancel God’s ability to guide you. When others do not know what to do, God can give you wisdom. When others cannot see the way forward, God can direct your steps. MAY YOU FIND FAVOR WITH GOD!

3. FELLOWSHIP GIVES ACCESS TO DIVINE DIRECTION

Because Noah walked with God, God spoke to him about what was coming and instructed him concerning the ark. While others were unaware, Noah received divine direction. God knows tomorrow. God knows what you do not know. God sees what you cannot see.

As you spend time with Him in prayer and His Word, He can give you wisdom concerning your family, ministry, career, business, relationships, and assignment. You do not need to know everything. YOU NEED TO WALK WITH THE ONE WHO DOES.

4. ABRAHAM ALSO LEARNED TO WALK WITH GOD

Genesis 17:1–2 shows God appearing to Abraham as El-Shaddai—God Almighty—and calling Abraham to serve Him faithfully. Then God reaffirmed His covenant and promised to multiply him.

Before you chase multiplication—CHASE GOD. Before you chase opportunities—WALK WITH GOD. Before you chase people’s favor—VALUE GOD’S PRESENCE. Your greatest advantage is not merely who you know on earth. YOUR GREATEST ADVANTAGE IS KNOWING GOD.

5. YOU WERE CALLED INTO FELLOWSHIP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

2 Corinthians 13:14 speaks of the grace of Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not merely a power to experience. He is the divine Person with whom we are privileged to fellowship.

Talk with Him. Worship. Read the Word. Become quiet before God. Listen. Pray. And do not make your secret place merely a place where you bring a shopping list to Heaven. Sometimes simply say: “FATHER, I AM HERE BECAUSE I LOVE YOU. I WANT TO KNOW YOU.”

WHAT CAN FLOW FROM FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD?

Strength to finish your assignment. Wisdom for preservation and sound decisions. Favor even in difficult environments. Divine direction when others are confused. Insight concerning your next step. Grace to accomplish what exceeds your natural ability. A deeper consciousness of God’s love. Intimacy with the Holy Spirit.

Do not merely visit God when there is an emergency. MAKE FELLOWSHIP YOUR LIFESTYLE.

PRAYER & PROPHETIC DECLARATION

Father, in the mighty Name of Jesus, draw us into deeper fellowship with You. Give us a hunger for Your presence. Teach us to pray beyond asking for things. Teach us to listen. Teach us to walk with You.

YOU WILL FINISH YOUR ASSIGNMENT! MAY GOD PRESERVE AND STRENGTHEN YOU! MAY YOU WALK IN UNUSUAL FAVOR! IN TIMES OF ECONOMIC UNCERTAINTY, MAY GOD GIVE YOU WISDOM AND PROVISION! MAY THE HOLY SPIRIT SHOW YOU WHAT TO DO! MAY DIVINE DIRECTION COME TO YOU! MAY YOUR LIFE BECOME A TESTIMONY OF WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SOMEONE WALKS CLOSELY WITH GOD!

Like Enoch—walk in close fellowship with God. Like Noah—walk in close fellowship with God. Like Abraham—walk before God faithfully. And through the Holy Spirit—ENJOY FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD EVERY DAY. In Jesus’ mighty Name, AMEN AND AMEN!

TODAY’S FAITH ACTION

Before this day ends, spend at least 15 uninterrupted minutes with God without beginning with requests. Worship Him. Thank Him. Read His Word. Become quiet. Listen. And say: “HOLY SPIRIT, I AM HERE TO FELLOWSHIP WITH YOU.”
