DON’T BE AFRAID — YOU HAVE FOUND FAVOR WITH GOD!

The Favor of God Is Addressing What Has Been Making You Afraid

Principal Scripture — Luke 1:30 KJV

“And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.”

Beloved, I believe this word is for somebody today: DON’T BE AFRAID. YOU HAVE FOUND FAVOR WITH GOD. Mary was facing something she could not fully understand. Her future was about to change dramatically. Yet heaven’s first response to her fear was not a lengthy explanation. It was: “Fear not… thou hast found favour with God.” Notice the connection: FEAR NOT — FAVOR HAS FOUND YOU. The presence of uncertainty did not mean the absence of God. Before Mary understood everything that was going to happen, God wanted her to know that His favor was already upon her. And I declare over you today: whatever is making you afraid, God is already ahead of you.

FAVOR IS SPEAKING LOUDER THAN YOUR FEAR

Luke 1:28 says, “Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee…” That is the foundation of your confidence: THE LORD IS WITH YOU. You are not facing that situation alone. Fear says, “What if it doesn't work?” Favor says, “God is with me.” Fear says, “What am I going to do?” Wisdom says, “God will show me what to do.” Fear magnifies the problem. Faith magnifies God. Today, I declare that the favor of God is confronting every voice of fear in your life.

YOUR WISDOM IS INCREASING

Luke 2:52 KJV says, “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” Look at that progression: wisdom, stature, favor with God, and favor with man. I declare that you are entering a season of increase. Your wisdom is increasing. Your capacity is increasing. Your stature is increasing. Your favor with God is increasing. Your favor with people is increasing. You will know what to do. Deuteronomy 4:6 teaches that God's statutes were to be Israel's wisdom and understanding before the nations. So don't allow fear to control your thinking. Return to the Word. There is wisdom for this situation. There is an idea for this problem. There is direction for this season.

COMMIT IT TO GOD — YOUR THINKING IS ABOUT TO CHANGE

Proverbs 16:3 AMPC expresses this beautifully: commit your works to the Lord, and He will establish your thoughts and cause them to become agreeable to His will. Stop carrying everything in your own mind. Commit the business to God. Commit the family to God. Commit the ministry to God. Commit the finances to God. Commit the decision to God. Commit the future to God. God can give you one thought that changes everything. I declare: You will think right. You will see clearly. You will know what to do.

YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE SPIRIT OF BONDAGE TO FEAR

Romans 8:15 KJV says, “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear…” And 2 Timothy 1:7 declares that God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Fear will not dominate your decisions. You have the mind of Christ. You will think with faith. You will think with wisdom. You will think with expectation. You will think possibilities. You will think solutions.

Philippians 4:6–7 KJV

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

What a prescription for anxiety: PRAY. ASK. THANK GOD. RECEIVE HIS PEACE. Don't rehearse your fear all day. Turn your fear into prayer. Turn your worry into worship. Turn your anxiety into thanksgiving.

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

DON’T BE AFRAID — YOU HAVE FOUND FAVOR WITH GOD! Favor is going before you. Favor is opening doors. Favor is bringing the right people. Favor is giving you access. Favor is surrounding you. Wisdom is coming. Direction is coming. Divine ideas are coming. Peace is replacing anxiety. This is not your season of fear. This is your season of FAVOR.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray for everyone receiving this word today. I come against every spirit of fear, anxiety, intimidation, and torment. Let Your peace guard their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Father, increase them in wisdom. Give them supernatural understanding. Give them the right ideas, the right strategies, and the right direction. Where they have been asking, “What am I going to do?” — show them what to do. Where doors have been closed, let favor speak. Where people are needed, connect them with the right people. Where decisions must be made, give them clarity. I declare that they are favored with God and favored with man. They will not be afraid. They will not be confused. They will not make decisions under the pressure of fear. They will walk in wisdom, peace, power, love, and a sound mind. You have found favor with God! In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
